Dear Colleagues:
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new Maternal Child
Health Bureau (MCHB), Division of State and Community Health (DSCH), technical assistance (TA) and logistics support
contractor Roomers, Inc. (Roomers). We are pleased to have
Roomers assist us in responding to State Agency requests for TA, as well as develop
a TA provider manual that includes an assessment of client satisfaction. TA activities will be based on an analysis of TA requests and approved by
the appropriate MCHB project officer. Roomers will also work with State MCH, Children
with Special Needs Directors to identify
appropriate TA providers for each specific TA request.
If you have any questions or need assistance in your request,
please contact a Roomers representative at (703) 518-0233.
The types of TA supported by Roomers may include the following:
-
Peer to peer consultation;
-
Individual consultant to States;
-
Regional workshops for States around selected topics;
-
MCH University Grantees provided training;
and
-
Other TA provided by MCH grantees, e.g., Universal Training Programs and program specific grantees such as newborn screening, EMS, and TBI .
Sincerely,
Cassie Lauver, ACSW
Director
Division of State and Community Health
