Welcome to the web site for the contract
entitled, "Logistical Support Services to Provide Technical Assistant to
State Agencies." Title V of the Social Security Act was enacted by
Congress in 1935 to authorize the Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH)
Programs administered by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau ( MCHB)
in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
MCHB
places high priority on providing State Health agencies with quality
Technical Assistance (TA) where necessary to improve MCH program
performance. This contract will help
MCHB
meet this goal.
TA may be provided in many different forms depending on the
particular requirements of a given request. A
TA Provider Handbook
is available to describe and clarify the roles, responsibility, and
protocol for obtaining TA. The following are the primary types of
TA that may be requested by States and supported by the contractor:

Peer to peer consultation (State to
State)

Individual expert consultation to
States

MCH Training and Research grantees
Roomers,
Inc.
has been selected to serve as the
contractor to provide logistical support services for TA to State
Agencies. Roomers, Inc. is also responsible for tracking the
progress of the provision of each TA event through the development and
maintenance of a TA provider data base.
