Welcome to the web site for the contract entitled, "Logistical Support Services to Provide Technical Assistant to State Agencies."  Title V of the Social Security Act was enacted by Congress in 1935 to authorize the Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Programs administered by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).  MCHB places high priority on providing State Health agencies with quality Technical Assistance (TA) where necessary to improve MCH program performance.  This contract will help MCHB meet this goal.

TA may be provided in many different forms depending on the particular requirements of a given request. A
TA Provider Handbook is available to describe and clarify the roles, responsibility, and protocol for obtaining TA.  The following are the primary types of TA that may be requested by States and supported by the contractor:

  • Peer to peer consultation (State to State)

  • Individual expert consultation to States

  • MCH Training and Research grantees

Roomers, Inc. has been selected to serve as the contractor to provide logistical support services for TA to State Agencies.  Roomers, Inc. is also responsible for tracking the progress of the provision of each TA event through the development and maintenance of a TA provider data base.
